Festival Expands to 11 Cinemas Across The UK

The Film Festival Guild is proud to announce the extension of the British Independent Film Festival. Now in its 4th year, the Independent Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever!

This year’s selection of films promises to be the best yet, and includes a number of highly talented directors and actors, including Martin Freeman and Tom Hollander.

Four feature films have been selected to be showcased at the festival: ‘Dead Cat’ (dir. Stefan Georgiou), ‘Saving The Titanic’ (dir. Maurice Sweeney), ‘Geezas’ (dir. Simon Kassianides & Mark Jackson) and ‘Sanctuary’ (dir. Norah McGettigan), plus a selection of short films, including ‘The Voorman Problem’, staring Martin Freeman and Tom Hollander.

The Independent Film Festival will take place in the following London cinemas:
The Tricycle Theatre, 269 Kilburn High Road, London, NW6 7JR
11th, 13th, 25th, 26th May 2013
The Empire Cinema, 5-6 Leicester St, London WC2H 7NA
3rd & 4th May 2013

With an average attendance rate of over 90% at all our screenings in 2012, this next festival is set to be even bigger, giving film makers more exposure, more reviews and more excitement for their films, whilst film lovers will get to see the ‘next big thing’ first!

The festival comes to a close with its world famous Awards Ceremony, where there are many honours are up for grabs, including Best Director, Best Short and Best Film.
