Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, has died at the age of 56, says the Associated Press.
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” read a statement by BusinessWire attributed to Apple’s board of directors.
“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”
My thoughts? Well, during Steve’s reign at Apple, he brought us the I-Phone and the I-Pad, two gadgets which the general public practically use every single day. His devotion to technology will be long felt in the days to come – and history will remember him as one of the great pioneers of both computer and mobile freedom.
